Planting Seed Resources
Cost of Seeds
The cost of seeds is generally quite inexpensive. A packet of seeds typically costs anywhere from one dollar to ten dollars. Some varieties of flowers or plants are more rare and thus the cost of seeds for those particular species will be higher. Organic seeds cost more than regular seeds because they have not been treated with any non-organic substances before packaging. Many people swear that organic seeds produce better tasting vegetables and more beautiful flowers. Depending on how much you are planting and how many seeds you will need, you will be able to determine if the higher cost of seeds packaged organically is worth it.
